Gaining weight will definitely help you hit sooner, but lbs is WELL within you reach. Yeah, I have tried a couple of intimidating poses in the mirror, and welcoming is about as mean as I get at the moment. So, nothing to lose on that front. Do dips and ohp like they are main lifts, do btn press if you can light high reps and do flys. You can get there np! I would consider myself to have average to below average genetics, but I went from to in 6 months at 6'2 so I would say given that you are shorter and bigger it should be absolutely no issue. I highly recommend switching to 3x5 on bench and then going heavy on supplemental exercises though.
And after you stop seeing progress on 3x5 switch to a 5 3 1 scheme and you will see great results imo. All you have to do is move shit. Either move it up, or move it down. Do it several times, multiple times a week. The more times you move shit, the more shit you can move after a while.
